On 27th January Year 2 children enjoyed a day learning about Scotland.

As part of their activities they located Scotland as part of....
the British Isles...
Europe...
and the world.

They located the geographical features of Scotland...
|
...and researched interesting facts about the country.
|
The children investigated the imaginary Isle of Strury through the Katie Morag stories.
They learnt about her life on this island, just off the west coast of Scotland.

Other activities included ...
making flags...
face painting (with flags)...
and biscuit decorating (yet more flags!).

This brilliant day was rounded off outside with the Eton End Highland Games.
