On Monday, 29th March the pupils from Reception to Year 6 participated in the very first Eton End Olympics.
After a parade of 20 nations dressed in the colours of their representative country the ceremonies were then opened by Mrs Pilgerstorfer, who spoke about the history and importance of fair play in the Olympic Games.

During the afternoon the participants took part in a variety of events.
There was great fun and teamwork with competitive events such as the tug-of-war and cooperative games such as the hula hoop relay.

At the closing ceremony the gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded.
The teams were then thanked and the flame was extinguished, bringing the 1st Eton End Olympics to a close.
