On both 24th and 25th June audiences at Eton End were treated to two exceptional performances of this year's School Play Olivia.
There were some truly outstanding performances by Olivia, her mother, Fagin, Dodger, and Eliza to name but a few....
|
The whole cast should be congratulated too on the high quality of their singing, acting and dancing : no mean feat for children aged 8-11.
Even backstage everyone looked as though they were having such fun !
|
What shall we do while we are waiting....?
|
However we must not forget the hard work by ALL those involved with this excellent production particularly Mrs Mesenger, Mrs Hayhurst and Mrs Mackie and also Mr Darby on keyboard and Mr Lane on percussion and drums.
The refreshments provided by our Friends' Committee were also very welcome on such warm evenings.
We thank you all!

Olivia! is a sparkling spin on the popular musical Oliver!, featuring the impish Olivia and her orphan friends.
This brilliant and innovative musical is set in Victorian times and traces the steps of Olivia, from downtrodden orphan to star of the stage. On her journey to the bright lights of London, she is befriended by Eliza Doolittle and finally becomes a singer, thanks to the unlikely assistance of Fagin and the Artful Dodger!
