As all the hampers were closed and rugs folded away the Nursery lawn still buzzed with the excited voices of childen and their families who had enjoyed a fantastic picnic organised by the Friends' Commitee and the Class Reps.

We were so lucky that the sun continued to shine throughout Sunday 4th July enabling everyone to join in the fun.

There was so much to enjoy: the Bouncy Castle, Hook- a-duck, Tattoos.

The Nail Bar, Name theTeddy, Lucky Dip, Bubble Wands....

....Hula hooping was very popular too....
|
Drinks from the bar, strawberries and cream and, of course, the ice pops were all very welcome refreshments in the sunshine.

When you needed to cool down the ice buckets were an added attraction!

Everyone eagerly awaited the draw for the Raffle to find out who had won the enormous fluffy puppy.....
..... Well, I did!!

It was certainly a memorable afternoon and our thanks go to everyone who supported us and all the many helpers.... Mums, Dads and children.
We look forward to next year's event!
