It was a warm and sunny day for the Skylarks' visit to Bekonscot Model Village and Railway in Beaconsfield.
Everyone was fascinated to learn that it's the oldest model village in the world and it will be 81 this year!

The visit to Bekonscot was part of the Skylarks' Buildings and Opposites topics.
It was fun to look at all the really small buildings in the six miniature towns. There were also lakes, railways, castles and more....
|
On the coach the children were asked what they might see on the journey.
Kaylan thought he might see a tiger and an elephant – well he did at the model village zoo!
|
Three boys patiently waiting for the train to come!
|
Suddenly Max said “Look it's Jaws!” so we all peered into the river.
Thankfully it was only an ordinary fish, curious to see who the big visitors were!
|
Now we're at the Castle and it's time for the Changing of the Guard.
Do you think we'll see the Queen?
