Year 2 enjoy a Roman Banquet

On Thursday 1st July Year 2 had their own Roman banquet on the school field. The children have been learning about the Romans in Britain and the banquet gave them the opportunity to eat food the Romans introduced to Britain almost 2000 years ago. The children and teachers dressed as Romans for the day. All food had to be consumed Roman style of course, which meant lying down whilst eating and drinking!     Roman Banquet Photos (148k)
