The Friends of Eton End

All parents on joining the school become a ‘Friend’ of Eton End and their support, at whatever level it may be, is much appreciated. In addition to this there is a Committee of Friends of Eton End who are a highly valued group of parents whose aims are to provide social occasions for parents to meet and feel part of the school as well as supporting the school by fund-raising.  The Friends also fund and organise events for the children at Eton End.

Committee meetings are held twice a term at the school or a member’s house and the AGM takes place once a year. Informal meetings are held as and when necessary.

Each class in the school has a Class Representative who liaises between the Friends’ Committee and the parents. This liaison is usually carried out via the Classlist app that all parents are encouraged to join. This enables you to be kept informed of whole school events as well a year group specific events for both you and your child.
