Last weekend’s Open Afternoon at Eton End has received some great feedback from
parents, staff, children and prospective new families interested in joining the school
community. With a theme of ‘Just Imagine’, children were encouraged to try a range
of activities including sports, Music, Science, messy outdoor play and Art across the
school.
The afternoon was designed to let children really get to know what goes on
at Eton End as they try their hands at a whole host of exciting new interests. There
was an excited buzz at the school as the children knuckled down to enjoy the
afternoon with our amazing staff; our parents had great fun too, especially playing
cricket!
Eton End Headteacher Rachael Cox, says: “We are so lucky to have some
exceptional facilities here at Eton End and it was great to see how creative the
children and families were trying out art and craft, music, sporting games as well as
reading, writing and problem solving.”
